The God of the Bible Kills People, by Evangelist Rolfe Barnard (1904-1969)

The MSM should have died the moment this quote from David Rockefeller was first heard: "We are grateful to the Washington Post, the New York Times, Time Magazine and other great publications whose directors have attended our meetings and respected their promises of discretion for almost 40 years......It would have been impossible for us to develop our plan for the world if we had been subjected to the lights of publicity during those years. But, the world is more sophisticated and prepared to march towards a world government. The supernational sovereignty of an intellectual elite and world bankers is surely preferable to the national autodetermination practiced in past centuries.”

But instead, the MSM (and the globalists who control them) just mock at the rest of Americans:

Trilateral Commission - (Clips) from Barney Miller - Se7 Ep8 (1981)

Cheney on CFR

I'm not sure where the following quote comes from, but I think it is true:
  • "A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the majority discover it can vote itself largess out of the public treasury. After that, the majority always votes for the candidate promising the most benefits with the result the democracy collapses because of the loose fiscal policy ensuing, always to be followed by a dictatorship and then  a monarchy." (Source?)

But it has also be said that "America is a Republic. Not a Democracy. Let's keep it that way." I did a quick Google search and I found that America's national debt is now almost $36 Trillion dollars. And that does not include unfunded liabilities like Medicare and Social Security.

Note: In the book of Revelation it reads:  "For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled." - Revelation 17:17. But
Please remember, it is God who put it in the hearts of these globalist monsters to do all these things - and as my Pastor is fond of reminding me, Romans 8:28 is still in the book: "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."

  1. "In the blast that follows, a fireball spreads out over the target zone. It travels at one hundred times the speed of sound, rendering it silent. One-millionth of a second later, the people of Hiroshima began to incinerate."
  2. "But Enola Gay is safe. All twelve men on board are alive. In six hours they will celebrate with whiskey and lemonade and spend the night far from the hell they have just created."
  3. "The next day the chilling results of what the young officer saw from the air are reported on Japanese radio: 'Practically all living things, human and animal, were literally seared to death."
  4. "[President] Truman's face lights up. 'This is the greatest thing in history...'"
  5. "'Thank God for the atomic bomb' is a common refrain among American soldiers and sailors, who have been dreading the blood-bath sure to come if American troops invade the beaches of Japan. To many of them, the bombing of civilians is not an issue - it's payback for the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor."
  6. "Oppenheimer soon leaves the stage, but not before bringing the house down with his final comment: 'My only regret is that we didn't develop the bomb in time to use it against the Germans.'"

    --------------------

Note: This daily sermon for the hearing impaired is dedicated to my good friend, David J. Bishop, who went home to be with his Lord Jesus on July 1, 2021. David was the inspiration for me to begin posting links to sermons for the hearing impaired. David's not deaf anymore. And the first words he heard were from our Lord Jesus, saying to him, "Well done, David, thou good and faithful servant. Enter into the joy of thy Lord!" [Matthew 25:21]

Here is one of the last pictures David sent to me before he died. He was a big sports fan and LOVED the Seattle Seahawks! He was also a BIG baseball fan. I'm sure if David had been able to hear he would have loved the song, Take Me Out to the Ball Game! But David loved our Lord Jesus much, much, much more than any sporting event!

    Westminster Shorter Catechism Q & A #96-100

        The following is from thewestminsterstandard.org:

    Q. 96. What is the Lord’s Supper?

    A. The Lord’s Supper is a Sacrament, wherein, by giving and receiving bread and wine, according to Christ’s appointment, his death is showed forth; and the worthy receivers are, not after a corporal and carnal manner, but by faith, made partakers of his body and blood, with all his benefits, to their spiritual nourishment and growth in grace.

    Q. 97. What is required to the worthy receiving of the Lord’s Supper?
    A. It is required of them that would worthily partake of the Lord’s Supper, that they examine themselves, of their knowledge to discern the Lord’s body, of their faith to feed upon him, of their repentance, love, and new obedience; lest, coming unworthily, they eat and drink judgment to themselves.

    Q. 98. What is prayer?
    A. Prayer is an offering up of our desires unto God, for things agreeable to his will, in the name of Christ, with confession of our sins, and thankful acknowledgment of his mercies.

    Q. 99. What rule hath God given for our direction in prayer?
    A. The whole Word of God is of use to direct us in prayer, but the special rule of direction is that form of prayer which Christ taught his disciples, commonly called, The Lord’s Prayer.

    Q. 100. What doth the preface of the Lord’s Prayer teach us?
    A. The preface of the Lord’s Prayer, which is, Our Father which art in heaven,” teacheth us to draw near to God with all holy reverence and confidence, as children to a father, able and ready to help us; and that we should pray with and for others.

When we look around the world today and see the wars, and famines, diseases, natural disasters like earthquakes and hurricane, it's hard not to see in these the signs of our Lord Jesus near return. But some signs of the time get missed, like this news story of an image of a photon. A Malediction

The judges sat outside the law, And in their pride no evil saw
In setting teeth to Satan's jaw, And feeding him our children.

A curse, a curse, the law it cries, A curse, a curse, on mankind's pride
A curse on him who would deny, God's image in mankind.

When viewed in terms of cost and ease, An unborn child is a disease
A holocaust soon fit to please, Our own convenience.

Torn from out their mother's womb, Denied the sky, denied the tomb
Conceived in lust to their own ruin, A sacrifice to pleasure.

A Curse, a curse their blood cries out, A curse, a curse the heavens shout!
A curse on him who dares to flout, God's image in mankind.

The doctors with their blood-red hands, Who loved their money more than man.
With greed their god they lay their plan, The butchers of mankind.

Oh, rid us of this evil Lord, And turn our hearts by cross or sword
Our nation cannot long afford, To live beneath your anger.

A Curse, a curse upon their heads, O, save them Lord, or slay them dead!
And fill our country with your dread, And turn away your anger.

Ligonier Ministries: A Consuming Fire: Moses and the Burning Bush with R.C. Sproul

Here are some quotes from the late RC Sproul (1939-2017):

      • "While God-given, the conscience has certain limitations in its ability to discern right from wrong. To hold a razor's edge, it must constantly be informed by the Word of God."
      • "We often hear the question, 'What happens to the poor innocent native in Africa who never had an opportunity to hear the gospel?'...Nothing happens to the poor innocent native who never had an opportunity to hear the gospel. Innocent people don't need salvation."
      • "Does saving faith require a trust in the righteousness of Christ alone as the grounds of our justification? Or may a person have a different view of the gospel and still be a Christian?"
      • "It is to Rome's credit, in my opinion, that she placed anathema on what she believed to be a false and heretical gospel. If sola fide is a distortion of the biblical gospel, surely it deserves such anathema. If the Reformers were preaching and teaching a false gospel, then they were apostate and deserved the labels put on them by Vatican I, 'schismatics and heretics.'"
      • "The Reformation was waged, not over the question of justification by faith, but over the issue of justification by faith alone. It was the sola of sola fide that was the central point of dispute."
      • "I said that if justification by faith alone is essential for salvation, and if Rome rejects justification by faith alone, then the conclusion follows by resistless logic that Rome rejects an essential truth of Christianity. When I use the word, if, here, I do so for the sake of the present argument. In my mind, there is no if about it. I am convinced, as were the Reformers, that justification by faith alone is essential to the gospel, and that Rome clearly rejects it."
      • "Agreement between Rome and Evangelicals can be reached in several ways. One is for Evangelicals to abandon their historic position of sola fide. A second is for Rome to adopt sola fide as its official doctrine. The third is for agreement to be reached that sola fide is not essential to the gospel."
      • "To indicate that the Roman view is inadequate, or it falls short, is a gentle criticism. In my estimation, it is too gentle. One could construe this statement to mean that, though it has shortcomings and is less than adequate, the Roman 'version of the gospel' is still just that, a 'version of the gospel.' The New Testament makes it clear that there is only one gospel. An 'inadequate' gospel is not the gospel. A gospel that 'falls short' of its essence is not a true gospel and must be vigorously rejected."
      • "I can imagine no Reformed theologian from the 16th century to the present day suggesting that the Roman Catholic view is not a serious threat to the gospel."

Michael Burry saw the financial meltdown of 2008 coming. The book The Big Short tells the story. The following quotes are from The Big Short, which told the story of the financial meltdown in 2008 and who profited from it:

“Being short in 2007 and making money from it was fun, because we were short bad guys. In 2008 it was the entire financial system that was at risk. We were still short, but you don’t want the system to crash. It's sort of like the flood’s about to happen, and you’re Noah. You’re on the ark, ya, you’re okay, but you’re not happy looking out at the flood. That’s not a happy moment for Noah.”

        Second quote:

“In early October 2008 after the U.S. government had stepped in to say it would...absorb all the losses in the financial system and prevent any big Wall Street firm from failing.”

        Third quote:

“Maybe the best definition of investing is gambling with the odds in your favor. The people on the short side of the subprime mortgage market had gambled with the odds in their favor. The people on the other side – the entire financial system, essentially – had gambled with the odds against them. What’s strange and complicated about it is that pretty much all the important people on both sides left the table rich.”

        And the last quote:

“The world’s most highly paid financiers had been totally discredited; without government intervention, every single one of them would have lost his job. And yet those same financiers were using the government to enrich themselves. I can understand why Goldman Sachs would want to be included in the conversation about what to do about Wall Street. What I can’t understand is why anyone would listen to them”

          Westminster Shorter Catechism Q & A #91-95

                 The following is from thewestminsterstandard.org:

          Q. 91. How do the Sacraments become effectual means of salvation?

          A. The Sacraments become effectual means of salvation, not from any virtue in them, or in him that doth administer them; but only by the blessing of Christ, and the working of his Spirit in them that by faith receive them.

          Q. 92. What is a Sacrament?
          A. A Sacrament is a holy ordinance instituted by Christ; wherein, by sensible signs, Christ and the benefits of the new covenant are represented, sealed, and applied to believers.

          Q. 93. Which are the Sacraments of the New Testament?
          A. The Sacraments of the New Testament are Baptism, and the Lord’s Supper.

          Q. 94. What is Baptism?
          A. Baptism is a Sacrament, wherein the washing with water, in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, doth signify and seal our ingrafting into Christ, and partaking of the benefits of the covenant of grace, and our engagement to be the Lord’s.

          Q. 95. To whom is Baptism to be administered?
          A. Baptism is not to be administered to any that are out of the visible Church, till they profess their faith in Christ, and obedience to him; but the infants of such as are members of the visible Church are to be baptized.

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought we to be in all holy conversation and godliness..."
