As I was going through the checkout at the grocery store this week I noticed the following two magazine covers:
- Oprah on Gratitude, Love & Life's Greatest Lessons - People Magazine
- The Future of the Brain
I didn't buy either magazines. But I do know 2 of life's greatest lessons:
- "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." - John 14:6
- "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment..." -Hebrews 9:27
Hopefully, these are 2 of "Life's Greatest Lessons" that Oprah has learned!
As far as the other magazine cover, The Future of the Brain, well, that's really closely related to Life's Greatest Lessons. The brain is a physical organ, just like your hear and your liver, and you kidney. And when you die your brain will eventually turn to dust, just like the rest of your body.
But that's not the end of the story. The brain also has a spiritual component that will never die. And if you fail to learn the 2 greatest lessons above, eventually the brain's spiritual component will be reunited with your physical body - including your brain - and both will be cast into hell for all eternity!
