The Most Common Deathbed Regrets, According to Palliative Care Nurse - msn.com
-------------------
I recently heard a pastor say, "You thought life was a joke, and then you found out it wasn't!" I think the biggest regret of everyone who dies apart from our Lord Jesus is that they thought life was a joke - and then they found out - too late - that it wasn't!
The Bible says:
- "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God...: - Romans 3:23
- "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." - Romans 6:23
- "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." - Romans 10:9 & 10
- "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." - John 14:6
- "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." - Acts 4:12
- "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." - John 3:16
- "For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures..." - I Corinthians 15:3 & 4

The text for this sermon is 2 Timothy 4:24 and Ezekiel 33:7 & 8: Here is the words of Ezekiel 33:7 & 8: "So thou, O son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me. When I say unto the wicked, O wicked man, thou shalt surely die; if thou dost not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand."
