Judge Roy Moore asks Supreme Court to secure $8.2 million defamation judgment - wnd.com

Judge Moore wrote a poem called, America the Beautiful which is very appropriate in light of the recent presidential election.
"America the Beautiful, or so you used to be,
Land of the Pilgrim's pride, I'm glad they'll never see.
Babies piled in dumpsters, abortion on demand,
Oh, sweet land of liberty, your house is built on sand.
"Your children wander aimlessly poisoned by cocaine,
Choosing to indulge their lusts, when God has said abstain.
From sea to shining sea this Nation has turned away,
From the teaching of God's law, and a need to always pray.
"So many worldly pastors telling lies about our Rock,
Saying God is going broke so they can fleece the flock.
We've kept God in our temples, how foolish we have grown,
When all the earth is but His footstool, and Heaven is His throne.
"We've voted in governments that are rotting to the core
Appointing Godless judges who throw reason out the door.
Too soft to put a killer in a well deserved tomb,
But brave enough to kill a baby before he leaves the womb.
"You think that God's not angry, that our land's a moral slum?
How much longer will it be before His judgement comes?
And how can we face our God, from whom we cannot hide?
What is left for us to do, but stem this evil tide!
"For if we who are His children, will humbly turn and pray,
If we seek His holy face, and mend our evil way,
Then God will hear from heaven and forgive us our sins.
He'll heal our sickly land and those who live within.
"But, America the Beautiful, if you don't then you will see,
A sad but Holy God remove His hand from thee."

The Briefing for Monday, August 25, 2025, by Dr. R. Albert Mohler, Jr.
In this third video, Dr. Mohler gives a wonderful tribute to the late Dr. John McArthur. And he ends by saying that in the last week the church has lost 2 giant warriors - Dr. John MacArthur and Dr. James Dobson. And he prays that God will rise up warriors to take their place. Amen!
Excerpt from this last Briefing: Dr. Mohler is asked why Christian ministers aren't better at doing exorcisms. He says, on the one hand, it is impossible for Christians to be demon possessed. And for the non-Christian, demon possession is the least of their problems!
Amen!

Sandford. But while this decision was a dark moment in America’s past, it nonetheless ultimately revealed America’s exceptional character through the public reaction to it."

"(To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David.) In the LORD put I my trust: how say ye to my soul, Flee as a bird to your mountain? For, lo, the wicked bend their bow, they make ready their arrow upon the string, that they may privily shoot at the upright in heart. If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do? The LORD is in his holy temple, the LORD'S throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men. The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth. Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup. For the righteous LORD loveth righteousness; his countenance doth behold the upright." - Psalm 11

Note: This daily sermon for the hearing impaired is dedicated to my good friend, David J. Bishop, who went home to be with his Lord Jesus on July 1, 2021. David was the inspiration for me to begin posting links to sermons for the hearing impaired. David's not deaf anymore. And the first words he heard were from our Lord Jesus, saying to him, "Well done, David, thou good and faithful servant. Enter into the joy of thy Lord!" [Matthew 25:21]
