A special thanks to Wikipedia.org for following historical information. The sermons I have chosen from Sermonaudio.com

1349 – Several hundred Jews are burned to death by mobs while the remaining Jews are forcibly removed from Strasbourg.

Recommended sermons and podcasts: The Restoration and Conversion of the Jews, by Pastor Charles Spurgeon (1834-1892) [Text: Romans 11:25-27; Ezekiel 37:1-10]

Here are a couple of Jewish songs that I really like:

  1. Minyan Man, by The Maccabeats
  2. I'm A Jew and I'm Proud, by Benny Ivri Anochi

Recommended sermon: I'm a Jew. Hope You Are Too! by Dr. David P. Murray

The text for this sermon is Romans 2:28 & 29"For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God."

1556 – Having been declared a heretic and laicized by Pope Paul IV on 4 December 1555,[5] Archbishop of Canterbury Thomas Cranmer is publicly defrocked at Christ Church Cathedral.[6]

Recommended sermons and podcast: Archbishops Cranmer and Williams: The Faithful Martyr and the Comic Vicar! by Dr. Ian Brown

1835 – The original Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, in the Latter Day Saint movement, is formed in Kirtland, Ohio.
