From Pastor John MacArthur: "I'm often asked if the Pope will go to heaven. My response is this: 'Is the Pope Catholic?'"
Note: Pastor Mccarthur is saying that if the pope is catholic - which he is - then no, he is not going to go to heaven. I do have one quote from a Roman Catholic website I can't recall which one - that goes back to when Barack Obama was in the White House:
"Barack Obama is not the problem. We are! Abortion is. Public schools are. A rotting pop culture is. ...Divorce and homosexual 'marriage' are. Obama has been reelected simply because America, like any nation, will always only get the leaders she deserves. We told God to go to hell a long time ago, and God is now allowing us to see what life is like without him. So lead on, Mr. Obama!"
The following 2 quotes are from R. C. Sproul's (1939-2017) book Faith Alone: The Evangelical Doctrine of Justification:
"Does saving faith require a trust in the righteousness of Christ alone as the grounds of our justification? Or may a person have a different view of the gospel and still be a Christian?"
