Note: I read the books, All the President's Men and The Final Days, in the late 1970s. Bob Woodward was a big hero of mine back then. But after reading Deep Truth: The Lives of Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein I've come to suspect that there was a lot more to the "investigative reporting" that ended the Nixon presidence than Americans have been led to believe.
